WELCOME TO MY AUCTION! I ALWAYS KICK OFF WITH A VERY LOW STARTING PRICE AND NEVER A RESERVE! SO ENJOY and HOPE YOU VISIT AGAIN SOMETIME! Item Description: This is a beautiful, old Fenton WATER LILY or LOTUS AND POINSETTIA Footed Sauce Bowl in vibrant LIGHT BLUE or SAPPHIRE Base Glass - 6 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches tall. This gem really puts on a show with Vibrant, Engaging Multi-Color Iridescence with ELECTRIC HIGHLIGHTS in full force! Maybe just a few shades shy of being pure electric in my opinion...but you call it as you buy it. Regardless...it has spectacular, KILLER color! A pure show piece in every way! The base glass...I'm sticking with Sapphire...its extremely vivid, rich light blue and stunning. Please look over the pictures and see for yourself. You buy it as you call it! A exceptional piece of vintage carnival glass... not marked in any way. A superior example of this wonderful old pattern, shape and tough, tough base glass color. It is an awesome investment quality piece of glass. IF YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING TO UPGRADE....do yourself a favor and look at this one closely. I have included several photos of the piece so you can see for yourself. It looks even better in your hands as it is always very difficult to capture a piece like this on film and do it justice. You can reference this piece in David Doty's 1998 Field Guide to Carnival Glass or The Encyclopedia to Carnival Glass and Edwards and Carwile. I guarantee this is authentic, early 1900's vintage Carnival Glass! All my pictures are taken outside, ALWAYS, in natural, indirect sunlight against a dark or light cloth...no artificial light is ever used. I never enhance photos, if you like the color you see...that is what you will get! I do not use reserves, never have, I believe that auctions should be...well...auctions! So bid with confindence and have fun...LOW, LOW starting bid...it will sell to the high bidder. Item Condition: (Pictures are part of the description...and I include lots of them...so please have a look!) This bowl is in outstanding condition. It has no chips, cracks or repairs! No major issues whatsoever. T are a few scattered manufacturing stretch marks visible, nothing u ncommon. T is a manufacturing straw mark in the center of the bowl, but it is swallowed completely by the pattern and is hard to make out even if you know its t..nothing uncommon. T are a few very small enclosed manufacturing bubbles...nothing uncommon. T he Base and Feet are in excellent shape. Extremely light shelf wear is noted on the bottom...nothing uncommon. T is one manufacturing tool mark visible on one foot. Extremely minor....but I'm mentioning it for accuracy. The mold seams can be felt, barely. The piece sits flat and solid on all three feet. The base is superb! The Rim and Edge Treatment is even and well done all the way around. Very nice, attractive visuals No issues at all. The Interior WOW is all I can say. What killer color! I can't make out any wear at all anyw..exceptional! Don't seem like this very often! The Exterior is in great shape...smooth back and pretty iridescence. Again I can find no wear. Super nice condition and color! That is all I can find on this sensational gem of a bowl. Its a KNOCKOUT! A smaller piece that packs a big punch! You will not find one better anyw! Incredible visuals ! I 've looked the piece over hard and I'm being very picky. I included lots of pictures, up close, so have a look. I collect Carnival Glass myself and I try to be very thorough with my descriptions, like I like others to be when I'm buying so you know what you are getting.
