FERNAND LEGER painting Framed Here is a wonderful Fernand Leger painting on wooden panel oil on panel, great composition of colorful abstract forms. Appears to be a musical instruments theme. Paint is mostly flat and does have a dirty appearance especially in the white area this could possibly be cleaned, I don't know, I have not tried, but still looks presentable as is. the panel has a split down the middle, and there are some chips along the edges also a large chipped area on the back bottom. Some areas of the paint are more textured than others, does have an overall dirty appearance due to age, but color is still good. back has markings, spatters, stains The frame has scuffs along the edges especially the bottom signed on front "F. Leger. 27" in lower right corner Measurement: apx. 19 X 26.5 inches, with frame All of the art and art items for sale on ebay have been acquired over many years of our excursions along the East Coast, NY, NJ, CT, New England, and down to South Carolina at various shops, antique places, Estate sales, Auctions, etc. it has been a passion of ours but now lack of space forces sales. Unfortunately (as we are finding out) many of these came with no history, or previous owner's history which we now understand would add more value to the artwork.
