We have several nice items from this line that we will be listing as we find the time. Made by Henry Alcock & Co. in England ca 1891 to 1910 according to the mark, this is their semi-porcelain line called Ferndale. The pattern is green transferred vining flowers and leaves on white accented with green leafy borders and gold trim. Up for sale here: The round covered serving bowl the base is 3" in height, and 8" in diameter, 10 3/4" long across the handles. The handles are elaborately molded and gold trimmed; below each handle are gold-outlined leaves The lid has four stations of scallops along an otherwise smooth rim. The finial is oval and trimmed in gold, and encircling its base are 12 gold-outlined white leaves. Condition: no chips or hairlines, the gold is bright and remarkably intact for a piece of this age. There is overall crazing, and as you can see in the photos, some browning as well. We never charge for handling or packing material – only actual shipping costs to us. Check your label!
