For the next few weeks (mid-April to mid-May) I will be selling more jewelry from my personal collection or from members of my family. You can look forward to a few more modern gold pieces , as well as some antique jewelry , some semi-precious stones, some beautiful silver , some Native American jewelry, and some special things that I've acquired on my travels overseas. It is all excellent quality and much of it is unique, one-of-a kind jewelry that you just won't find down at the mall. Of one thing you can be sure -- while some is gold and some is not, it is all excellent quality. For sale in this auction is Lot #FF : Antique 14 Karat Gold Moonstone Stick Pin 14 Karat Gold (marked) 1.6 grams (including stone) History : From my collection of stick pins; estimated to date from the late 1800's . I've owned this pin for about 40 years. Measurements : 2 1/4 inches long Oval face is about 3/8 inch by just under 1/2 inch Stone is about 6 mm by 8 mm and curves up about 3mm above the bezel Design : A lovely bezel-set moonstone cabochon within gently-curved boarder of gold, incised with a delicate pattern of leaves and vines. The back is smooth gold.Note that this is an exceptionally pretty moonstone, with a beautiful bluish inner glow. Condition : Excellent. No damage, no repairs. As close to new as a piece of this age can get. This piece has not been cleaned. As some collectors prefer pieces with the patina of age, I will leave that up to the winning bidder.If you need more information, just click on Ask Seller a Question. Insurance is charged at the exact amount charged by the US Postal Service. I add a handling fee of $2.00 for each package ( one per package ), to cover my costs for packaging and shipping expenses. So, if you combine several items in one package, t is still only 1 handling fee. Yes, I'm delighted to save you money by combining shipping for multiple purchases up to a maximum value per package of $500 per package . For combined shipping, 's what to do : If you have won an item and will be bidding on others ending within 5 days . . . Let me know that you're still bidding and want to combine shipping with any additional purchases. Do NOT pay any invoices until you are finished bidding and have received your final, combined invoice from me . When you are finished bidding, just let me know and I'll weigh up all of your items, calculate the combined Priority Mail Insured postage, add just the one $2.00 handling fee per package , and send you off a combined invoice.Please note that I do not ship internationally.
