FIELD FOREST AND STREAM IN OKLAHOMA Being the 1912 Annual Report of the State Game and Fish Warden, John B. Doolin, to the Governor of the State of Oklahoma, the Honorable Lee Cruce. Here is a summary of the state of hunting and fishing in Oklahoma in 1912, with chapters on geology, topography, streams& rivers, bushes & trees, buffalo, deer hunting, game fowl hunting, wild turkeys, the Wichita National Game Preserve, Arbuckle Mountains, coyotes, fish and fishermen (with several mentions about the local Cherokee Indians), hawks, loggerhead turtles, sport hunting with dogs, and more. This book is illustrated with many interesting black-and-white photo plates. (159 pages; measures about 7 x 10.5 inches) Research for similar copies on sale elsewhere revealed this is a rare book, with only three found, priced from $145 to over $300! This is a vintage hardback book, no dust jacket, with gilt-stamped dark green cloth boards that have some scuffing and wear at extremities, mostly at corners and spine ends. A gift inscription is written with pen and ink on the front blank fly page. There is a split from lower edge between the endpaper and fly page that does not interfere with the binding.
