Set of six (6) limited edition Hamilton Collector’s Plates featuring the Great Fighter Planes of World War II with images created by artist RAYMOND WADDEY . These plates are from the Hamilton Collection of Fighter and Bomber Aircraft of WWII produced in 1991, 1992, and 1994. Each issue bears a hand numbered serial number and was limited to just 14 firing days. These SOLD OUT plates are approximately 8.25 inches in diameter and are adorned by a 23K gold rim. The six (6) plates included in this listing are:

1991 - North American P-51 Mustang “Old Crow"

1992 - Bell P-39M Airacobra

1991 – Grumman F-4F Wildcat

1991 – Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, Gabby Gabreski

1992 – Lockheed P-38F Lighting

1994 – Consolidated B-24 Liberator “The Dragon and His Tail”

The condition of these fine art collector’s plates is excellent with no cracks, crazing or chips. The original boxes are not available.available. However, it is uncommon to encounter as large a collection as we have assembled and these plates represent limited edition issues that are now 14 to 17 years old. These plates are a nice counter-point to your aviation art or WWII diecast aircraft collection – at least in our view. We admit to a weakness to diecast models and display our collection with aircraft collector’s plates similar to those featured in this listing. The artwork of Ray Waddey is well known, though now uncommon. Note that shipping is much more cost-effective when a collection of plates is purchased rather than assembling a collection as single purchases.
