This is a beautiful majolica camel teapot from the 1930's. The teapot is hand painted in beautiful colorful hues and has a strap handle and two strap holders for the handle that are hand applied. You can see the finger marks on the ends. T are no cracks or chips but t is extensive crazing that is normal to such an old piece. The teapot measures about 7 1/2" high including the handle, about 10 inches long from nose to tail, and about 4 1/4" wide. It is marked on the bottom in green and reads, "Pat No. 38513, Made in Japan". T is a tighy stress fracture on the under part of the lid (please, see photo). It is not noticeable and is on the underside. The rattan holder in is very good condition. If t are any questions, please do not hesitate to email.
