You are looking at a wonderful victorian silverplate wheeled cart with a figural bird at the top of the handle. It has a napkin ring, pepper pot, salt dip and a small butter pat. The wheels are fully functional and turn quite freely. It has not been polished for at least 50+ years , but the plate appears to be fairly intact other than some pitting inside the salt dip ( I prefer not to attempt to clean or polish this....I will leave that to the next owner). T is a slight bend to the handle and the left wing of the bird. I would guess it was made sometime between 1880 and 1900. I have only seen a couple of these gems in the past 40 years my self ! It is marked on the bottom of the cart and also on the bottom of the butter pat...SIMPSON HALL AND MILLER QUADRUPLE PLATE and the number 5. As seen in the photo the pepper and salt dip are on pegs, and the napkin ring is fastened in place. Low starting price and as always No Reserve as I don't believe in hiding what I actually want for the item. Shipping inside the USA will be quoted to your address with insurance extra via priority mail, with a small addition of $2.00 to help offset the cost of the packing materials. I do not offer any other shipping options at this time. I will combined shipping on multiple auction wins, just let me know via email that you plan to bid on another item and I will gladly wait until you have finished shopping with me. I do list for private collectors, and it is up to them if they wish the item re-listed. I DO NOT end auctions early and although I appreciate your offers, I have never accepted an offer extended to end an auction early. If you have a concern with your item talk to me first and I will make sure it is resolved to make your experience with me a good one.
