This is one of the FIRST figural pins in this 18-piece set. It was first seen in the 1940s Girl Scout Catalog, along with the other original two (that you can see at the top of my shadow box.) These pins were VERY popular in the 1940s and 50s. This is 1 3/4 inches high and 1 inch wide. There are a very few TINY specks of paint rubbed off, but otherwise I can not see a single flaw with the naked eye. What I see is a SEVENTY YEAR OLD pin that looks LIKE NEW. This is an amazing piece of Girl Scout history, and certainly GIFT QUALITY. I've included my shadow box of all 18 pins in this series so that you can see what a great collage it makes.
