FOR SALE: FILARMÓNICA "ESPECIAL" STRAIGHT RAZOR Weoffer for auction a handsome straight razor; from the prestigious spanish brandFilarmónica, "Especial" (special) model. The blade and shank have been made out of carbon steel, the scales are white plastic, mother-of-pearl imitation. This is an unusual model amongst the Filarmónica straight razors; it has been surely made few years ago, quite in the '90s.On the blade is engraved on golden wash "Especial Filarmónica", and an anagram that includes a dot border and two allegories of musical notes (please, see the pics). At the scales has been engraved the usual brand monogram, the golden lyre. At the shank reads "13- Filarmónica- José Monserrat Pou" and the lyre monogram. The razor weights 45 g., scales included. Its measures accord to a 6/8'' razor. It is enclosed in its original plastic case.The blade and edge are in absolutely perfect condition, the razor has obviously been unused. I dare to say that it is ready for shaving, if desired; quite it needs a minimal stropping. I think that it is a superb piece also for the collector. Only must be noted that the white handle has got a 32 mm. crack that may be seen at the pictures; nothing substantial at all for the razor inmaculate condition.
