This show introduced the Doors to much acclaim, in San Francisco. Bill Graham certainly had a flair for knowing what his audiences would embrace. The poster design, by Wes Wilson, features a woman's face and the flowing designs that characterized his posters of this period.

This poster measures 13 13/16" x 23 11/16". I believe it to be the second printing, and although I am not sure, am pricing it accordingly.

The poster has some corner bends as well as some unobtrusive bends in the lower portion of the poster.

This poster, and others, were left to me by my brother, who knew a number of musicians involved in the rock scene on the east and west coasts in the 60's and 70's. He was friends with a well-known music producer, and I believe that he gave these posters to my brother. My brother gave me some of the posters in 1970, and I inherited the others in 1985. I have stored them flat since then.
