Platinum Label Film Noir Brunette 2006 L.A. Convention Barbie Doll Certificate of Authenticity Doll #306 of 750 Plus Convention Extras VERY Limited Edition - The 2006 National Barbie Doll Convention held in Los Angeles, CA in July of 2006 was one of the best conventions ever. The convention celebrated Hollywood Glamour. The doll was designed by the team of Magia 2000 consisting of Mario Paglino and Gianni Grossi of Italy. Their inspiration was Rita Hayworth in Gilda, Grace Kelly in Hitchcock movies and Marilyn Monroe in - well, just about every movie she ever made. Beautiful raven updo hair with lovely makeup and is wearing an elegant pink and black strapless gown with lace inset, very reminiscent of 1940's Hollywood. She wears rhinestone jewelry and long white satin gloves. The doll is in mint condition and has never removed from the box which has been in storage. However, one of the corners of the box has a ding which is also in the same place on the shipper box. Please see pictures. Included in this auction: 1.
