(Character and Vehicle sets- 9 each-18 total) What's the story behind the cards? In 1999 the Carddass Masters company (a division of BANDAI JAPAN ) under license of SQUARESOFT, produced these cards to mark the release of Final Fantasy VIII (8) in Japan . The entire set is comprised of 182 cards; 72 being visual perfect cards (depicting actual scenes and characters from the game itself) and 110 being Triple Triad Cards (actual reproductions of the Triple Triad game played in FFVIII). Among the more 'common' cards in the set, special foil cards were also inserted at a ratio of 1 per pack (1 pack containing 10 cards) for a total of 47 foil cards. These cards are now very difficult to find as they went out of print many years ago and their value has been considerably increasing since then. The foil cards are even harder to find due to the way they were inserted. The item itself: These cards are part of the visual perfect set. T are 9 Character cards #s 37-45 and 9 vehicle cards #s 46-54, 18 total. These cards are in MINT condition as they were placed in plastic protective sheets right from the pack. The winner of this auction will receive the pictured cards in their protective sheets. Payment/Shipping Details : Paypal is preferred, but I also accept US Postal/International money order or cashier's check. Payment MUST be received within 7 days of auction end, otherwise I will relist. I will ship worldwide, but please contact me before bid ends if you live outside of the continental US, Alaska , or Hawaii . I do combine shipping (check out my other auctions!)
