Fine 12pc English Sterling Dessert Knife & Fork Set Presented is a wonderful 12 piece English solid sterling silver fruit or dessert knife and fork set of excellent weight made in 1925-26. The tines and blades as well as all of the handles are solid sterling silver. The handles are in a classic threaded pattern. The handles are solid sterling, they are not hollow. All of the pieces are marked with the crown for the city of Sheffield, the lion passant for sterling silver a maker's mark HA for Atkin Brothers. All of the knives and four of the forks have a date letter i for the year 1926 and two of the forks have an earlier date mark of h for the year 1925. This set is in super condition. T are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs. Each knife measures 7 3/8 inches long and each fork measures 6 3/8 inches long. The combined weight of the set is 506 grams or 17.7 ounces or 16.3 troy ounces.
