ABOUT OUR AUCTIONS: Hi everyone, thanks for taking a look at our items. This week we have listed some of our Finest and Rarest examples we have ever offered online from our Private Collection. You Rarely see Collections like this come up for auction online, and all starting low with No Reserve. Alot of the items took us many years to find, and they are the only examples like them we have seen. Please make sure to add us to your favorites list , we will have more interesting treasures coming up in the future. If you haven't seen our auctions before it is nice to know we have Never Had a Reserve on one item ...Ever, no matter what it is! We also start everything off nice and low, usually under 15.00 to give everyone a great chance at a nice treasure. Also if you see more than one item you like, we give great combined shipping deals, always at least 50% lower for the second item and even lower for smaller and larger quantities of items. ITEM: Up for auction is a Fine c1860 Meissen Nude Figural Group. The Meissen Figure is part of a Large Collection of Meissen and other Fine Quality Estate items up for auction, as you can see in the last picture. The Figure is one of the nicer period examples we have seen. The Hand Painted details are Superb throughout, and the Figure is First Quality Meissen. I am sure t is a name for the group, but I am not sure what it is! The Figure is one of the more interesting Meissen examples we have seen with a Beautfiul Nude figure in the center holding a Shell filled with Jewels, and resting on a ball. T are aso 2 working Cherubs, and a Chicken figure in the front. The Base is also Finely Hand Painted with great details, and Foliage all around. I do believe t is some restoration to the top of the shell, the cherubs foot on the shovel, and back tree. However it is done very well and only noticeable upon very close inspection. For its age the figure is in nice original condition with no missing pieces, or major damage, and displays beautifully. The Figure is also a nice size measuring 6 1/2 inches tall, by 6 1/2 inches wide, and is 4 5/8 inches in depth at the base. As you can see the Base has the Meissen cross sword mark, along with the impressed number 98, and the hand incised number 832. I have no idea what the Fine c1860 Meissen Figural Group would be worth. You do not see to many examples of this quality come up for auction. As usual we just start all our items off low, and will let you decide. Like a Real Auction should be!! The Fine c1860 Meissen Figural Group would make a great addition to any collection, and is also a fine investment piece. BEST OF LUCK WITH THE AUCTION! Please click to see our other items !
