This fine museum quality hand made Continental silver centerpiece measures 7 1/2" long X 5" wide X 5 1/2" high with a weight of approx 15 oz. in fine condition and without damage of any kind. Flawlessly hand crafted, with exceptional execution of detail. The hallmarks of what appears to be the number 12, possible German before 1860 when the hallmarking system was based on loths. Items silver content does test 875/1000 and above. Also hallmarked with the initials I HR , the HR is recognizable as for the I not 100% sure. T is also the possibility that the first number is a 19 and that would bring us to another country. In any case the item is exceptional and definitely European.
