This is a superb decorative wood carving of an artists easel which, during our research we have been informed it originates from the Black Forest and is from the 19th century. Wonderful intricate and decorative overall carving with the leaf and flowers. Has a hinged shelf to front with a rear stand. Folds flat. It has an overall size of about 12 x 5.75inches with a max depth when on stand of about 5.5inches. Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is without blemish. Besides being a very collectable 19th century Black Forest decorative carving of the artists easel, would also look fabulous displayed.
