A Fine American Neo-Grec Inlaid, Ebonized, Porcelain-Mounted, Burlwood and Rosewood Center Table, late 19th c., attributed to Pottier and Stymus, New York, the blocked D end top inset with finely polychrome, inlaid grotesques surrounding a representation of Aesop�s fable of �The Fox and the Crane�, and lateral cartouches with avian motifs; conforming skirt inset with �S�vres� plaques of court ladies; the elaborate turned legs joined by an incurvate stretcher with anthemion ends, a reticulated lyre centered by an urn, on stylized bun feet, height 30 in., width 52 in., depth 30 1/2 in.
