For years I have collected Antique imari porcelain and have displayed all of my pieces in a corner cabinet in my living room This display was often commented upon and enjoyed picking up pieces over the years (mostly in England) to add to this collect. Over the winter I decide to change out my cabinet and as a result have a HUGE collection of antique imari piece up for sale.... ALL of these are old pieces as best I can tell most with minor flaws....I have actually gotten to a point on chinese and japanese porcelain w I prefer a flaw or two because I believe it is the best way to avoid all of the reproduction pieces floating around. (I mentioned this a couple year ago to one of the better auctioneers in the Boston area ...he laughed and said he has found alot of people to be doing this!)))) .I am listing all kind of things ... in a variety of different styles and shapes: platters, chargers, plates, covered bowls, bowls, vases ..some real bargains . Up for auction is a great VIBRANT imari platter wonderful design I really LOVE THE DESIGN and great colors with a very old hairline .
