is an early flatware service that has its original presentation case. T is an inserted brass medallion and hardware. The case is damaged but to have it is rare. T are 12 each of the knives (7 1/2") and forks (6 1/4"). Both have nicely detailed decoration on them, the knife have vintage or grape pattern in the blades. The knives are hallmarked. Occasional wear to blade or small edge chip and a couple are scratched, plate seems in very good condition for the most part, one knife has a hunk of the MOP missing, two of the forks have recessed MOP that appears original to them. One shelf is warped out of shape. All pieces are firmly attached to the handles and nothing is badly bent out of shape. All as is as found. Questions are always welcome and we can send additional photos if needed. We ship same or next day after payment is received, we compare shippers and options, whatever we can to keep the cost down. SHIPPING : We apologize for not using a shipping calculator but we can not prepack every auction and we will not guess - neither you or I should end up short, but upon request we can provide a pretty accurate quote. We are trying to compare USPS, UPS and Fed Ex, we drive the packages to drop off locations, we do all we can to keep the cost down. We add $1 - $5 to most auctions for packing materials (we only make a small commission on these items, not the sold price) - check our feedback - good packing means not cutting corners or skimping on packing materials, and they are expensive.
