Examples with the elegant finish on this early Royal Dux card receiver is very, very had to find. T was only one example in the collection I bought some time ago. Let's take a good, close look, and you'll see what I mean. She's almost 7" tall, and she's in excellent condition. No chips - No cracks - No dings - No scuffs. One thing you may have noticed with many pieces from this estate is that several have those little felt protectors on the bottom. I love finding those because it most always means the folks took great care of their precious pieces. That is the famous Royal Dux pink triangle mark. I'm sure the "Dux Pros" will be able to date it precisely from that. I'd guess it's from right around the turn of the century, but I could be off a little either way. at 341, I have two "Prime Directives:" First: I never, under any circumstances, use a reserve, and everything starts at $9, sometimes even less. Second: I don't clean, repair, or otherwise monkey around with anything. I push enough dust aside to note any flaws, but if I discovered it in some dusty attic, you can look forward to a little dust on it when it gets to your house.
