Amongst the items sold off were a quantity of bone china dog drinking bowls blanks. When the artist retired the last three of the precious blanks went with her and this one was decorated by Sylvia Smith with pugs and Dresden style painted roses in the autumn of 2006. The pug designs are by Sylvia Smith and all the flowers and colour are free hand painted against a hand padded pale turquoise background. The pug puppies run and jump all the way around the bowl and t are two more inside the bowl together with another Dresden rose. The bowl is signed on the base with the artists signature and the date '06 T are no chips or cracks. The piece is in bright and good condition. I have a returns policy on this piece.
