Fine Filigree pierced Basket European hallmarked c 1820 9" long 9 1/2 inch to top of handle This is an interesting item with a combination of filigree work and fine piecing. The handle is exceptionally nice with a non monogramed shield. The liner is a quality crystal like Baccarat. T are two chips and a couple of flakes at the teeth. Condition: two chips and some flakes to the glass liner. They are not noticed when the liner is in use only when it is removed. T is a makers mark in a diamond twice at the foot. Those familiar with french marks would recognize this as a makers mark but I cannot find a Minerva mark to indicate if this is 800 or 950 silver.
