Includes 5 illustrated 4` x 17.75` Kennedy/For President bumper stickers from the 1960, all signed in ink along right margin, including one signed John Kennedy, one signed Robert Kennedy, one signed Ted Sorensen (President John F. Kennedy`s Special Counsel & Adviser, legendary speech writer), one signed G. Mennen Williams (former Gov. of Michigan and Kennedy supporter) and one singed by Chester Bowles (chairman of the DNC platform committee in 1960), PLUS an illustrated notice of Republican-A-Go-Go $100-A-Plate Dinner, Indianapolis, June 11th, 1966 with address by Nixon and photo of same on front, autographed on reverse To Harold/from/Dick Nixon, 3.75` x 6`, PLUS an 8` x 10` autographed photograph of President Lyndon Johnson signed along bottom margin with best wishes Lyndon Johnson, stamped on reverse 30 Jul 1964, PLUS a TLS from Richard Nixon`s Times Square office dated Oct. 28, 1968 and signed Richard Nixon in felt tip marker, PLUS a Harry Truman TLS dated May 27, 1970 with cover, framed together and matted, 12` x 19.5`, AND 1 TLS from Albert B. Chandler (Happy Chandler) and one TLS from Navy Dept to Chandler, both dated in the early 1940`s. Albert Benjamin Chandler, Sr. (1898–1991) was twice governor of Kentucky, a U.S. Senator and the 2nd Baseball Commissioner. His jovial attitude earned him the nickname `Happy,` which stuck for the remainder of his life.
