Charming Japanese handpainted blue-and-white Imari porcelain plate, Meiji period, c. 1868-1912. Delightful motif features highly stylized crane framed by pine branches, water and cloud. Rich, deep cobalt blue on brilliant white lends a striking contrast. Sweeping, freehand strokes give a sense of whimsy and unique artistry to the piece. A great collectors piece in very good condition. Diameter: 11.5. ASK ABOUT OUR INTEREST-FREE LAYAWAY PLAN.
