This is a beautifully restored Sonora RCU 208/ 6 tube AC/DC Standard AM Broadcast radio with very sleek, bold art deco stylish appearance, finish restored with toning lacquers and looks quite nice with a two or three lacquers of glossy lacquer for the final finish, and contrasting colors all tied up in a great wood case in excellent condition. Works quite well, bringing in many stations loud and clear accross the band. Has had all new caps, resistors and tubes replaced if out of tolerance. As always, with electronics this old, t are no guarantees or warranties, it is being Sold As Is.Cabinet measures: 15" Wide, 9" High, by 8" Deep at the deepest part of the curved top. Has original knobs, grill cloth and rear cover. Rear cover was cracked horizontally in the middle but not all the way through, but I reinforced the back with three short 1/4" wood strips, and loctite epoxy, and the cover is good and strong now, and looks fine. The bakelite trim around the dial glass has the usual minor warping, but no cracks or chips. Really don't want to part with this one, but with Christmas right around the corner and lots of kids, grandkids and great grandkids to buy presents for, need the extra money. Buyer to pay all shipping, and it will be double boxed very well for safe shipment. Please check my feedback, my customers have given me great remarks read more
