Fine Napoleon III Inlaid Brass and Tortoiseshell Boulle Cave a Liqueurs This Fine Napoleon III Inlaid Brass and Tortoise Shell Boulle Cave a Liqueurs set is up on auction. What you see in the picture is the same item you will receive. Please look at the pictures carefully. This liqueur caddy comes with the eight original crystal glasses and four decanters you see The crystal is painted with gold paint. The crystal is handblown shows occasional air bubbles and small irregularities. Please notice the repairs that have been made to the small wooden parts on the inside. Also the inside horizontal wood panel in the box is loose and hangs down a bit. Please notice that on one of the glasses t is a small chip on the rim. I just want to mention everything in detail. The lock and key on the box work perfectly. This is definatly a 19th Century work of art with the Boulle-style brass and tortoise-shell inlay. Other than the minor repairs, the caddy is in excellent condition for its age. T are 8 crystal hand-blown glasses, 4 decanters, key, and the beautiful box with the brass animal feet. All this is what you will receive if you win the auction. This auction starts at a low, no-reserve price of $750. The highest bidder wins the auction. Please feel free to ask questions.
