These truly magnificent and unusual 19th century Meissen Style porcelain figural comports / bonbon dishes / salts have been crafted to an outstanding quality! These lovely comports are handpainted and are heavily decorated with tiny floral sprays. Both the man and the woman are beautifully detailed. We have described them in the title as Meissen as they are very similar in style. We are not porcelain experts and they were purchased for their aesthetic value. Each one is marked with a makers mark similar to that of the famous German Porcelain factory as can be seen in the pictures below.
