ABOUT OUR AUCTIONS: Hi everyone,thanks for taking a look at our items. We have had a little rest over the past few weeks, but we are back with some more fine quality and interesting treasures. Over the next couple weeks we will be auctioning off some very fine examples out of our private collection. So if you like what you see be sure to add me to your favorites list , t is more to come! If you haven't seen our auctions before it is nice to know we have Never Had a Reserve on one item ...Ever, no matter what it is!! We also start everything off nice and low always under 20.00 to give everyone a great chance at a nice treasure. Also if you see more than one item you like, we give great combined shipping deals, always at least 50% lower for the second item and even lower for more items. ITEM: Up for auction is a Very Rare Lucie Rie Black Glaze Bulbous Vase. The Vase is part of a Large Collection of Fine Quality Estate, and Collection items up for auction, as you can see in the last picture. The Vase is part of my Parents Estate and Private collection. We did have 2 other examples of Lucie's work out of the collection we did sell a couple years back. This being the finer of the 3 we have kept it, but have know decided to put it up for auction. My Parents accuired the pieces on a trip many years back, possibly purchasing them form Rie's Studio, or a place that sold Rie's works. As you can see the Vase has a great Bulbous design we really liked. The glaze is also very nice, Poruse or Volcanic like. The Vase is also in very fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Vase is also a nice size for display measuring 5 1/2 inches tall, by 4 1/4 inches wide. It is a little hard to make out in the pictures, but the Vase is fully signed with Rie's conjoined RL monogram. I have no idea what the Lucie Rie Vase would be worth. As usual we just start all our items off low, and will let you decide. Like a Real Auction should be!! The Fine Rare Lucie Rie Bulbous Vase would make a great addition to any collection, and is also an excellent investment piece. BEST OF LUCK WITH THE AUCTION! ! We have always list on Thursday nights, and end our auctions on Sundays. Sometimes we take a week or two off for a break, but still have many treasures coming up for auction.
