A wonderful Tartan / MauchlineWare pin or needle box, marked 'Cameron', late 19th century Description: On offer is this rare Victorian Tartan Ware or Mauchline Ware pin or needle box. The cover of the box is marked on the rim: 'Cameron', after the famous Scottish clan. The inside of the case is natural plain wood. This Tartanware pin box or needle case is in excellent condition with no breakages, severe damages or repairs, and only an insignificant surface imperfection on the cover. It opens and closes tightly. Please view the pictures, which give a good impression of the wonderful quality, the condition, and the colors of this collector's item. The Cameron pin box stands 5/8 inches (16 mm) high, and measures 1 5/8 inches (41 mm) across.I guarantee age (Victorian, late 19th century) and authenticity of this attractive item, which would make a wonderful addition to any Mauchline or Tartan Ware collection.
