Fine Wood 19th Century Sewing Box Mother of Pearl Inlay

A very nice old sewing box with mother of pearl inlay, the original damask fabric lined lid pouch, original blue paper and silver metal rimmed copartments, deserving of some restoration for certain since much of the piece is worn from use, and the wood hasn't been cleaned or polished for years. The original brass presentation disc is inset in the top, monogrammed MJP to DP. It appears to be burl walnut veneer over secondary woods, and the only cracks are in the very outside of the top rim, nothing structural, just stress from the years. No lock facing..that is missing, as is two sections of horizontal strip inlay on the top and a very small facing strip. T is a crack in the pine bottom, but once again..structurally, it's very sound. We've left the innards as we found them, including some little notions. 4 x 7 1/2 x 11". Shipping by priority mail, a 4 lb package.
