ABOUT OUR AUCTIONS: Hi everyone,thanks for taking a look at our items. Over the next week we will be listing some very fine examples from our collection, and all starting low with No Reserve. If you haven't seen our auctions before it is nice to know we have Never Had a Reserve on one item ...Ever, no matter what it is! We also start everything off nice and low, usually under 15.00 to give everyone a great chance at a nice treasure. Also if you see more than one item you like, we give great combined shipping deals, always at least 50% lower for the second item and even lower for more items. ITEM: Up for auction is a Fine set of c1840 Victorian London Sterling Silver Melon Servers. The Servers are part of a Large Collection of Silver and other Fine Quality Estate items up for auction, as you can see in the last picture. I do not know a great deal about the set. By the design I beleive they would be Melon Servers, which you Rarely see come up for auction. As you can see the Servers has a nice early Scissor design, The Servers are also Ornately decorated throughout, and on both sides. The Servers have never been monogrammed. The Servers are a nice quality weight of 102 grams. The Servers measure 5 inches long. As you can see the Servers have nice early London Sterling Silver hallmarks, along with the date letter beign a fancy "G" for the year 1840, and the makers mark which I believe is "CB", or "CR". I have no idea what the Rare c1840 Victorian Melon Servers would be worth. As usual we just start all our items off low, and will let you decide. Like a Real Auction should be!!
