Finest Antique Tole Painted 4 lb Country Store Scale Visit My Ebay Store Sign up for my email newsletters For your consideration is an: Antique Tole Painted 4 lb Country Store Scale. This fine scale /balance is in wonderful original paint. It has a 16 oz brass bar scale which is graduated into 1/4 oz increments. T are also a 1 lb weight and a 2 lb weight which can be added to the platform on the right to achieve the 4 lb capacity. The scale balances very nicely and can be finely adjusted by unscrewing the round platform on the right and adding or subtracting ball bearings. T are 4 extra ball bearings for fine tuning. The scale is cast iron with a brass pan, and the overall weight is almost 11 lbs. This scale is in very fine antique condition with appropriate signs of age and wear. The brass pan is in fine condition with some light spots, oxidation, and a few small dents. T are paint losses to the scale, oxidation on the brass bar, and some light surface rust on the underside of the base as shown in the last picture. The measurements including the pan are 14 1/2" long, 11 1/4" deep, and 8 1/2" tall. The base measures 12 1/2" wide, 6 1/2" deep, and 6 1/2" tall.
