An outstanding vintage jewelry item, this circle/button brooch is a beauty, framed in platinum with a pearl button center and a bevy of diamonds, including 12 bezel-set old miners and 140 (?) table cuts, all totaling about one carat. The pearl is exceptional, and it measures 5 1/2mm; the diamonds are all in the SI1 clarity and H-I color range. The sparkle, the shine and the presence of this piece is truly exceptional - we love it, and we hope you do, as well. It's features a barrel clasp at the back, along with hook mountings for a chain. The item measures 7/8" diameter and weighs in at an impressive 7.1 grams. We include a professional appraisal with this lot (which we've pictured) , a document which asseses the replacement value of the brooch at over $1700 - our price is significantly less than that figure.
