FINLAND EARLY HORSEHEAD PUUKKO KNIFE FINLAND EARLY HORSEHEAD PUUKKO KNIFE, c. 1920-30’S, 7 ¾” HORSEHEAD PUUKKO, 3 ¾” straight blade, with fullers on both sides, lightly cleaned, with some fine pitting remaining, about full. Nickel silver bolster and horsehead pommel, with round smooth black handle, probably Ebonite, with thin amber looking spacers, between the bolster and the pommel. Original leather sheath, with engraved German silver throat and curved tip, with metal hanger strap in almost mint condition. A fine fairly early Puukko, probably made by Jarvenpaa.
