There are hundreds of interesting and unusual books and other items in my eBay store, RKs Virtual Attic ,be sure to take at look around. I am happy to combine items for savings onshipping whenever possible.This is a stunningly beautiful purple glass decanter. It has two stickers on it. One is mostly present and reads "Made In Scandinavia For Peno Dwinger Imports El Segundo, Calif.". The second sticker is almost gone. It was originally triangular in red black and silver I think. What I can gather from what is left of it is that this decanter was made by Riihimaen, or Riihimaki in Finland. It is a gorgeous and very heavy decanter with a small pouring spout. It has a clear glass stopper with a dollop of purple glass deep inside. With the stopper in place the entire decanter is about 9" tall and the base is 4 5/8" in diameter. Overall it is in extremely nice condition for its age, which is probably 70s or so. There are a few tiny scratches and other marks. There is a tiny fleabite size nick on the lip of the decanter almost opposite the spout. You can see it I think in one of the pictures. It weighs over 3 1/2 pounds before packing.
