Hi - click on store link above - see this listing plus other unique value-priced vintage items. This is a great old oiler. Made by Standard Oil Co. Indiana. It has a long lead spout with the original screw-on cap which I believe is Bakelite. I can't be sure because I can't find the stuff I use to test with. In any case, the plastic top is in perfect condition which is amazing for its age. The can stands 6-1/2" to the top of the spout and is oval. It is in very good shape with a few spots w the paint has been nicked off. No dents. Not real colorful, black and tan, but not too common either. Has a fairly wide seam on one side. Instructions say it is good for things such as coffee grinders and softening razor strops. I am an honest and trusted eBay seller with an excellent feedback rating and plan on keeping it that way. I describe things to the best of my ability, and try to be as accurate as I can with the knowledge I have and research that I have done.
