This is a 9 1/4 inch Fire King "Alice" Blue Vitrock plate. It has no chips or cracks and only very light utensil scratches. It has a matte finish like vitrock plates have, but t are some shiny streaks that appear to be "as made"; they show when held up at an angle to the light. I often see the cups and saucers, but this is the first dinner plate I ever found. It is from the 1940's.

I will ship the most economical way or Priority Mail -- buyer's choice. An invoice will be sent at the end of the auction, or you may use the calculator's shipping amount and send payment based upon that. Sorry about the new increased postal rates :( ...bad for eBayers, but I guess high gas prices will increase the price of almost everything. Insurance ($1.65 for up to $50.00 value) is also the buyer's option and highly recommended for breakable items. Shipping charges include Delivery Confirmation on most items. Seller is not responsible for uninsured items or delays in the postal delivery system. International bidders please be aware that sometimes packages take a long time in transit. Items will be packaged carefully to survive the trip through the mail. Payment may be made by check (no holding time except for e-checks through PayPal; they will not let me print a shipping label until the check clears.), money order, or PayPal -- whichever is most convenient for the buyer.
