Hello & Welcome To Medieval Womans Auctions I'm very pleased to offer this firey opalescent South Jersey Cream Jug. The piece is white and when held to the light shows that firey red color we see in old glass. The pictures were taken outside without a flash and the red color is evident in the photos. The cream jug also has an iron or graphite pontil mark. The piece is blown flint glass and stands 5 1/2" tall and 4" from spout to handle. The handle is an ear shaped applied crimped handle. Condition. T is a tiny, less than pin head sized nick in the upper rim (mentioned for accuracy) and a very hard to find line in the handle, no chips or chunks. Item will be double boxed for shipping.
