Ok folks, I have to say I am color blind but I think this is green or bitter sweet. you be the judge . there is no one home to double check the color. all that aside this is with out a doubt the most wonderful firkin I have ever found! this came from an estate clean out yesterday that one of my good friends was doing and he was kind enough to bestow upon me this bucket from there ! this was well used and prized for sure to last this long. I hit it with warm water and a sponge to take the pics ,but you may want to clean it more.the color is great untouched. chippys , scratches , rubs here and there as you would expect for such an old piece.the wood is also in very good shape. this was found in NJ just off the hudson river . the folks said it was there when they moved in in the 1950s. winner pays all shipping and insurance.the size of the firkin is 10 1/2 inches tall by 10 inches across the top the base is 11 1/4 wide. these measurements do not include the handle
