First Gear – 1949 Dodge Power Wagon Southern Railway Signal Maintenance Truck You are bidding on a very realistic 1/30 th scale model of a 1949 Dodge Power Wagon, Southern Railway signal maintenance truck. In 2006, this model was commissioned by the Fairfax Station Railroad Museum and built by First Gear, Inc. This is a limited edition model, as it was only produced in 2006, with only 488 made. We have a limited amount of stock remaining. I am a member of the museum and am selling the model on its behalf. For the passionate First Gear or Southern Railway collector, the 7 inch long truck is made of die-cast metal and is painted in Southern Railway green with Southern Railway insignia on the doors. It features an opening hood revealing a detailed 230 cubic inch flat head 6 cylinder engine, detailed undercarriage, detailed cab interior, a roof-mounted yellow safety beacon, PTO winch, spare tire, spare fuel canister, rubber military tread tires and a fold down rear tailgate. The cargo area features a cable spool, ladder racks, rope, a detachable ladder, and side-mounted tool boxes. We would love to see them in the hands of collectors everywhere.
