You are bidding on a very nice first issue of Sports Illustrated from August, 1954. This is the real deal -- not the reprinted version. Overall, the magazine is in very nice condition: I would call it Ex/NrMt. The only flaw is the front cover has two small creases on the lower right hand corner -- see the last photo for a close up. Otherwise, the magazine is in very nice shape -- it has the card/insert to subscribe to the magazine that distinguishes it from the reprint (see second to last photo) and the 3 page foldout of Topps baseball cards are in really nice condition....This is a great specimen of a classic American sports collectible. We will start out the bidding at $99.99 Auction or $149.99 Buy It Now, which is less than most auctions on ebay. I've seen similar copies of this issue sell for upwards of $200-300, so this is a a steal Long time and reputable ebay seller -- check out me feedback rating. Very fast USPS Priority Mail shipping -- I ship same or next day after payment has been received. Recent shipments have arrived two to three days after payment has been received, so you will have this in a jiffy.
