49 high quality chromolithographs of ocean creatures which "accurately represent the brilliant coloration of some of the fishes of this interesting region". 17 by C.B. Hudson. Charles Bradford Hudson is an artist listed in Ray Davenport's "Art Reference and Price Guide". Hudson lived from 1865-1939. The remaining 32 colored lithographs are by A. H. Baldwin. The colored lithographs are printed by Julius Bien and Co. N.Y. Three large fold-out maps bound in at back. Numerous engravings. 117 figures.
