This is a New Fisher Space Pen, Model #FFGM-4F Gunmetal Finish Futura Pen. It comes with Black ink and a Fine point. This is a retractable pen that is 5-3/8" long and the barrel is .350 which is a standard sized pen. T are three ridged rings at the grip and a pocket clip. It comes with a gift box and sleeve. The Futura series uses the standard "PR" series Fisher Refills. This refill was developed for NASA and has been used on EVERY Space Shuttle mission both American and Russian. They are hermetically sealed with a specially formulated thixotropic ink and pressurized to about 35 PSI. They are the only refills that will write at any angle because they do not rely on gravity, and have a shelf life of 100 years. The bottom paragraph (in Purple) tells more about the Fisher story. The PR Refills come in a variety of colors and points. I carry the full line in my e-bay store and they are priced under $4.00 each. This series pens come in stainless steel, gunmetal, and matte black with gold trim. They are all shown in the photo below. They are all metal and a very nice mid to upper price range. Use the Note section on the pay-pal or Bid Pay page to state your choice of Font and what you want engraved on the pen. Most Fisher Pens (Including this one) take the Standard "PR Series" Refills. All except the Multi-Function Pens the TAG-S and the Q-4, They take the SU Series Refills. The PR Series refills are the Zero Gravity Pressurized refills and are Available in a variety of colors and points; Black and Blue ink refills are available in Bold, Medium, or Fine Points. Red and Green refills are available in medium and fine points. T is also a variety of colors available in medium point only. These are Purple, Burgundy , Brown, Silver, Turquoise and a UV ink that is only visible under a black light. Each refills also come with an adapter so they will fit Parker and Parker style Pens. I get a lot of request to change out the ink cartridge to suit the buyers' personal preference. Most Pens come with Black Ink and a Medium Point. Some prefer blue ink over black; some prefer a fine point over the medium, while others prefer a bold point. Not to mention the colors Red, Green, Purple, Brown, Burgundy , Turquoise, Silver and Invisible (Ultra-Violet). Once I change these out I then have new cartridges that are not sealed in packaging. I can not sell those as new. I want to accommodate my customers and think that I have come up with a fair way to do just that.
