This is a Wonderful, Unique Vintage STERLING Silver Candle Snuffer made by FISHER Silversmiths Inc.This candle snuffer is in the form of a Tri Corner Hat (a Tricorne) as the snuffer end, and a Sword is the 'handle'This item measures about 8" long at the longest point and about 2" wide at the widest point on the hat.This item is marked FISHER STERLING inside the snuffer end...and it weighs about 43.3 grams.Fisher Silversmiths Inc. was located in Jersey City NJ, and was in business from about 1936-the 1970's or so.This item is in very good vintage condition..please enlarge images to get a closer look at its condition...The hat has no large dings/dents or deep scratches....it is in great shape, the end of the sword, (the handle end) has a couple of dings on the sterling, though all pretty small....see images..I would have to categorize this item to be in Very good vintage condition...This is a wonderfully Unique Candle Snuffer....a Great Colonial Look!
