Includes an indented plate from Seasons series, entitled March; 9.5` diameter, PLUS a scene of canal boat approaching a dock at a seaport with wide floral border, incomplete transfer printed pattern mark on reverse, 10` diameter; PLUS an indented plate in Vintage pattern, marked below J.M. & S. for John Meir & Son; 10.25` diameter; PLUS an indented plate in Fountain Scenery pattern with fantasy landscape of fountain, Gothic ruins and gondola, 10.65` diameter; AND an indented plate in Washington pattern depicting a seated Roman with scroll and pen marked E.W. & S. for Enoch Wood & Sons; 10.25` diameter. According to Petra Williams, This statue was purported to be the statue of George Washington by Italian sculptor Canova (1978: 83).
