Early WWII production M1 fixed bale-frontseem helmet complete with all accessories. This Helmet would be idealfor the younger collector or for use by a reenactor. Some Details: Helmet appears to be a WWII period repaint. The Chinstraps are frayed in one small area, but are still strong and durable. Chinstrap buckles have some obvious corrosion that could be cleaned. Net is cut from a original WWII production Vehicle net. This is the type of net that was common early in the war, particularly in the Italian Campaign and also the type used by Airborne and Glider Troops during the war. Liner is Early WWII and in good condition. It was manufactured by the Seeman Paper Company - these are harder to find liners. Helmet nape strap is original WWII production. Sweatband is either unissued original or a high quality reproduction. Overall, a nice helmet for the money. Much cheaper than the 90% reproduction helmets available out t at only a fraction of the cost. International bidders please have: A 50+ feedback rating, Paypal, and the willingness to pay for airmail shipment and insurance. I DO NOT accept bids from the following countries: Spain, Italy, or China/Hong Kong/Taiwan. This is due to countless issues with bidders and the postal and customs services of those countries.
