MADE IN U.S.A FIXED BLADE KNIFE ( HAND FORGED) WITH A CAMEL BONE HANDLE Blade Length: 3 1/2" O/A Length: 8 " Thickness: 3/16 Blade Material: 5160 Handcrafted in the USA at the Outback Forge operated by Sam Stoner, Jr. A Craftsman near ScottsVille, Ky who makes various Knives and Tomahawks. These Knives and Tomahawks are forged to shape in a hand cranked coal forge. Only high grade carbon steels are used for the blades All work is done in shop and each piece is heat treated to a high level of performance. Each Knife or Tomahawk is differentially hardened and tempered. This ensures excellent durability in an heirloom quality knife. Each piece is crafted in a very traditional manner using no electricity or motors. All equipment is driven by pulleys and belts on an overhead drive shaft. This shaft is powered by two large horses walking on a treadmill.
