This lithograph reproduction of the original painting by a patient, Fred Tripp, at the McCleary Hospital & Clinic in Excelsior Springs, MO in 1940. The original canvas was 6 ft. tall. Upon his dismissal from the hospital Mr. Tripp gave the original painting to Dr. McCleary who then reduced the painting on lithograph to the 22 " X 11" and gave a copy to all of his patients. 200,000 copies were made in 1940. The painting in this auction has never been framed and is as new condition. I made the new frame from new Oak and cut new glass for this picture. On the new kraft paper backing I attached a color copy of the history of the Our Flag picture. This frame and mounting was done in my workshop in Excelsior Springs, MO a block north of what is left of the McCleary Hosptial w Fred Tripp painted the original painting from his second floor room. Shipping and handling will be $16.00 insurance included. Payments by paypal prefered ,credit or debit card processed through an internet merchant account , or propay.
