Item Description Monogram 1/32 scale German flak panzer named a Wirbelwind. Originally designed for mobile anti-aircraft, it was also used very effectively for close support of infantry troops. It mounted four 20mm rapid fire cannon in a light armored turret and was built on a Pzkw IV chassis. Assembled model built from an early '70s kit. Comes complete with the original instructions. Main guns elevates and turret traverses. Front machine gun elevates. Painted in a winter camouflage pattern. I've added various small bits (tools, bedrolls, cable, etc) that weren't originally included in the kit. The sight guidance arm has been broken, but is repaired and operates as it should. PACKING ADVISORY - I will pack all models as well as I can using boxes, bubblewrap, and/or airbags. Keep in mind though, that they are fragile. While no harm should come to the main piece, small bits may become dislodged, or possibly broken, in transit. Unpack carefully so that you don't inadvertantly break something unwrapping the model. Keep an eye out for loose items in the box and in the packing. You may have to do minor repairs on arrival. Unfortunately, on some of the models I list this will be near unavoidable, just because of the nature of the postal system. Payment info All payments MUST be made within 7 days of the auctions end (unless other arrangements have been made). Please write for quotes. International Shipping - Please write for quote before bidding. Shipping weight will be about 12ozs, plus handling, packing materials and insurance. I insure through Shipsurance to the following countries, since the PO doesn't offer that service for their 1st class packages. Because it's done outside the postal system, that cost is not reflected in the amount on the postage sticker. So no, I'm not trying to get rich on shipping. There are costs above and beyond actual postage that are taken into account when figuring the S&H charges.
